In spite of all that has happened this past week, I feel compelled to share with you the truth about what we are facing and the true battle that we fighting in our world and society today.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” — Ephesians 6:12
Every believer is engaged in a battle that cannot be seen with human eyes. Spiritual warfare is not about arguments with people or struggles with circumstances—it is about unseen forces that seek to weaken our faith, distract us from God’s truth, and keep us from walking in victory.
Paul reminds us that our strength does not come from ourselves, but from the Lord. That’s why he urges us to put on the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:13–18). The belt of truth, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, and the helmet of salvation are not just nice illustrations—they are the practical ways we guard our hearts and minds daily.
The enemy wants us to believe lies, but God calls us to stand in His truth. The enemy wants us to doubt, but faith is our shield. The enemy wants us to stay silent, but prayer is our lifeline to God’s power.
Today, remember: the victory is already won in Christ. We do not fight for victory but from victory. Our task is to stand firm, stay alert, and remain clothed in the armor God provides.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for equipping me with everything I need to stand firm in the battle. Help me to walk in Your truth, hold fast to my faith, and never stop praying. Remind me that in Christ, the enemy has already been defeated. Amen.
