We live in a world that often equates faith with wishful thinking or blind optimism. But biblical faith is far more grounded—it is trust in the person and promises of God revealed to us through Jesus Christ.
To truly seek God is not just about spiritual curiosity or religious ritual. It’s about coming to Him with a heart that believes—believes He exists, believes He loves us, and believes He rewards those who earnestly pursue Him. And the gateway to that pursuit is Jesus.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus tore down the barrier of sin that separated us from God. By placing our faith in Him, we are not only forgiven—we are brought into a living relationship with the God who created us.
Faith in Christ isn’t passive. It calls us to seek—to pray, to trust, to walk in obedience even when we can’t see the whole picture. And as we seek Him through faith, we discover the truth of His promise: He rewards those who draw near. Not always with ease or comfort, but always with Himself.
Are you seeking God today? What step of faith can you take to draw nearer to Him through Jesus?
Prayer:
Lord, I want to know You more. Strengthen my faith and help me trust in Jesus Christ as the only way to You. Teach me to seek You not just in times of need, but daily, with a heart full of belief. Amen.
