Pastor John Butler and his wife, Carolyn, have been joyfully serving our church community since 2016. Married for nearly 25 years, they are proud parents to four wonderful children—Stephen, Hunter, Alise, and Andrew—and grandparents to wonderful two grandsons, Elijah and Hudson.

Pastor Butler holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, and Religion from Bethel University and is a graduate of the Program of Alternate Studies in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Ordained since 1999, he has faithfully ministered in Irvington, Kentucky, Sacramento, Kentucky, and now here in Campbellsville.

A passionate outdoorsman, Pastor Butler loves fishing, hunting, and engaging in almost every sport. But above all, his greatest joy comes from serving the Lord Jesus Christ and sharing the Good News of God’s saving grace. With a heart full of compassion, he is dedicated to helping others experience the love of Jesus in every possible way.
